schadenfreude (shahd-n-froi-duh) n., Satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else’s misfortune.
Since he refused to heed her warning against eating the “Tupperware surprise” that had been sitting in the refrigerator for months, she freely basked in schadenfreude when he became ill.
