smitten (smit-n) adj., 1. Very much in love; enamored; infatuated. 2. Struck, as with a hard blow. 3. Grievously or disastrously stricken or afflicted.
Despite last night’s contentious pizza roll situation, they were far too smitten with each other to stay angry for long.
